A Look At Our Mardi Gras Crew

The Whole Crew
For a look at the whole Airbrush Shoppe Crew, visit our Crew Pages.
Every time we work an event (no matter how difficult, bizarre or impromptu), it always turns out to be a stunning production. That type of success is completely due to the teamwork and integrity of our crew. Ask any one of us, or anyone with whom we've worked. They will tell you how tight our team is and what a positive difference that makes in the quality of our events and productions. With that in mind, we thought it would be cool to tell you a little bit about these people who work, play and live so well together.

Amy Coffman
Partner and co-owner of The Airbrush Shoppe, Etc.
Amy is our resident colour girl. Her likes include Chip, Chip and Chip. Her talents include being very apt at airbrush body painting, with an excellent eye for color mix and good placement. Before training to be the talented artist she is, Amy spent years behind a desk and computer. Amy aspired to be more. Hence, she would stand around the water cooler at the office and tell the other girls how she dreamed of someday being an exotic body painter.... NOT!! None of us ever imagined what we would be doing today. Amy just knew it had to be something more than the office!
Amy was head master-mind in New Orleans at the Club 735 during the Super Bowl/Mardi Gras chaos. She and her crew of 4 enjoyed Bourbon Street, up close and personal! Amy's perspective on this? "Take the path of least resistance to survive Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras!"

Colleen May
Partner and co-owner of The Airbrush Shoppe, Etc.
Colleen is the head right-brainer around here, as well as being the eldest sibling to Amy and Jason. She is wife to Dave and mother of 4 grotesquely wonderful boys. Colleen has been an airbrush artist going on 20 years, and began airbrush body painting in 1997. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine that a few airbrushed tattoos for Gateway 2000 would turn into Playboy parties at Anne Rice's mansion! Needless to say, her post-pubescent boys are really enjoying mom's new profession!
Colleen spear-headed all special projects during the 2002 Mardi Gras choas, such as Playboy's Super Bowl Party, the NFL Player's Gala and Coca-Cola On Ice at the Winter Olympics. She's also the oh-so talented artist behind the designs for these projects.

Jason Coffman
Exotic airbrush body artist and head of promotions for The Airbrush Shoppe, Etc.
Jason is always the life of the party. Not only is he the creepy little brother, but he is also quite the talent! He's always easy with a smile, unless you are messing with one of his sisters. Jason is as popular with the girls, as he is good with an airbrush. Ask him about getting searched at the airport in Dallas/Ft. Worth coming back to New Orleans from Salt Lake. Geesh! You're not supposed to enjoy that, Jason!
Jason was Colleen's tag team for special projects scheduled during the Mardi Gras 2002 choas, such as Playboy's Super Bowl Party, the NFL Player's Gala and Coca-Cola On Ice at the Winter Olympics.
Steve's Favorite WorkAt right: Weavel really enjoys his work!
Steve Hunter
Exotic airbrush body artist for The Airbrush Shoppe, Etc.
Steve is our beloved resident Weavel and has been a valued friend for many years. When he doesn't have an airbrush in his hand, he is providing live video commentary with his camcorder (unless there's a video game around!). Steve looks like he bites, and he does! We actually have a shock collar on him at all public functions, just for safety. The truth is, he is the humor you weren't expecting. He is a master of messin'. He devotes a mission to making people laugh, and he's very good at it. He is also a brutally talented bass player, as well as being a very eligible bachelor. Believe it or not, he is the number one choice around here for applying beautiful airbrush makeup.
Steve was an invaluable part of the Club 735 team during the Mardi Gras/Super Bowl chaos.
Amy and RosaryAt left: Amy and Rosary
Rosary Glenn
Exotic airbrush body artist for The Airbrush Shoppe, Etc.
Rosary is wife to Bill, mother of 2 boys and has been a fixture in the Coffman family for more years than not. So many years, in fact, that she should be considered more of a pseudo sister than anything else. Being our newest artist, this was Rosary's first experience with New Orleans and what an experience it was!! She rolled into town, eyes wide with wonder. She left town two weeks later a much wiser woman!
Rosary was an incredible asset to the Club 735 team during the Mardi Gras/Super Bowl chaos. She was also part of the NFL Players Gala team.
Steph the Bead TrickAt right: Stephanie, our bead trick
Stephanie Morgan
Exotic airbrush body artist associate for The Airbrush Shoppe, Etc.
Steph owns Trendy Tribals, an associate company to the Airbrush Shoppe, Etc. Over the past couple of years, we have worked several events with Steph, including Super Bowl XXXIII and the Reintroduction of PowerAde in NY. Stephanie is a very talented airbrush artist who's interests include her two children, and her new boyfriend, Tink. She is the confirmed Mardi Gras 2002 Bead Slut. As a matter-of-fact, she almost had to ship her beads home seperately, because she had so many!
Steph was part of the Club 735 team during the Mardi Gra/Super Bowl chaos. She was also part of the NFL Players Gala team.
